Inner tornados
torrent of flayling water
swirling sense-less activity
purposed only
to keep at bay feeling
Too intense
Too overwhelming
Too pained
To feel
Away, be gone, banish and vanish
No, No, NO
The swirling inversed tower of denial suddenly
brushed by a tiny tear
Enough.
more forceful than spinning denial
tiny tear on the heart off sorrow
planted deeply beneath the heart,
sprouting from the quieting core
shoots of emotion
reaching the light of pain
waterfalls begin to flow,
from reddened eyes backward to the heart
tears that never truly stop
wrap the heart with grief and compassion
Suffer powerful still begins to quiver
the water of sad carries the boat of death
from malestorm to light,
sails diminished to rise no longer
healing begun.
It is only when we are willing to be compassionate and be with what we feel that we may find any relief from the darkness. You said it beautifully.
